So we had our "Adventures with Ariane". I take groups of people on some part of Sacramento or the surrounding areas. There were a bunch of people with the day off on Monday, so we decided to take a little adventure trip at the last minute. I ended up having about 15 people. These pictures are a bit out of order. We started at this cool river walk on the west side of the Sacramento River. This is Lindsey walking through the water feature at the water intake area.

Well, I made them cross a bridge and a few streets with some traffic. It was the adventure part of the event.

This kid cracks me up. He decided to dance to a Brittany Spears song to an ipod. Then he tried to get people to join him. Um, no thanks Dustin.

A nice view of the great city of Sacramento!

The crowd walking on through the Old Sac. side of the river. It was a bit safer of a walk.

The crew at the water intake thing. It was a really cool building where all the storm drains enter the river.

My cute nephew, Allan. He suckered me into actually putting money in the truck.

This is the goodbye dinner for my friend, Ben. He is moving to Virginia for the Navy Jag. I will miss this friend. He has been a staple at tacos for 3 1/2 years. Very sad times. This was the big meal before he left. I actually was not hungry and I got enough food to feed my whole family. Oh man.

We decided to go to a King's game for his last weekend. He had just thrown this cone at me. Thanks friend!

Here is part of the group at the game. AmyAnn, Ben, Ty, Jenn, Jenn, Ariane. Well, tickets are so cheap because they really are not doing very well. Good for us!

I did not want my picture to be taken at that angle because I would have a double chin. Ben, was helping me out. Thanks!

Yep, trying to hide my chin.

My good friend, Harlow. We looked all over town for shirts. Come to find out, Lodi JC Penny is the place to be. We could not find them in Sacramento, but Lodi they were there. Come again!
This was a good weekend. Sad to see Ben go, but he will do well. I have really good friends. I really am a blessed person. My students are doing so much better. They are calmer (okay some days) and they are catching on. It is not the easiest thing I have ever done. I have had some days lately where I really do love my job. Then there are those days after meetings and crazy weather that causes my students to go crazy that I think what am I doing??? But, life is going really well. I am happy.

You have way to much fun. And dang that nephew of yours is soo cute!
It's good to hear about your students! Weird how weather can affect kids, huh? I find that wind really brings the worst out of them, but that's just my observation.
