We have been talking about Liquid, solids, and gases lately at school. I have had a first grader who constantly asks me if we can do "real science". I asked him what that was and he told me time travel, changing humans into creatures, and making potions. I told him that I was not very good with the other things, but I could try a potion. This is what we called "goo" or cornstarch and water. The kids loved it. I wish I could show you their faces, but I am afraid with privacy reasons I will just show you this. They loved it. That one child assured me that we did "real science" today.
The last few pictures were the American River Branch 3rd birthday party. We had a lot of fun playing games. It was "dress up like your super hero" party. I am not sure what my super hero was, but it was fun to have a cape and a Hannah Montana wig (with optical lights). A bit crazy, but it was tons of fun.
I went with my friends JH and Dunn to the San Fransisco Giants Fan Fest day. It was amazing weather and really cool to go on the field and everywhere else we wanted. One picture is taken from the press box, which is really the best seats. It was quite a fun, FREE adventure!

You've been up to all kinds of fun things! I wish would've known about the free giants thing... that sounded fun. I love that you kids want to do real science. I bet you are loving teaching. where are you teaching at?
